Brayden Nicole Kameg, DNP, PMHNP-BC, CARN, CNE
Dr. Brayden Kameg currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the Department of Health and Community Systems, where she coordinates the psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) program.
Clinically, Dr. Kameg is co-founder and co-owner of a private practice, Peace of Mind Psychiatry, where she treats patients across the lifespan. Her expertise lies in the treatment of substance use disorders, and in working with special populations including gender-diverse individuals, people of childbearing age, and children and adolescents.
She is the founding program director of a PMHNP residency program at the Veterans Administration Pittsburgh Healthcare System, where she sees patients on an inpatient basis and in the addiction psychiatry program.
